Urban Fritsche is Portfolio Manager in the Healthcare team. He co-manages Healthcare equity funds focused on thematic impact (lead manager), sustainability and blue-chip stocks. He is a member of the Management Committee.
He has worked in the financial industry for many years, focusing primarily on the Pharmaceutical sector. Before joining Kieger, he worked for BZ Bank in Wollerau as sell-side analyst covering the Pharmaceutical, MedTech and Chemical sectors. In the earlier part of his career, he was brand manager for knee implants at Zimmer Biomet in Winterthur and, before that, project manager at Prionics (now Thermo Fisher Scientific) in Zurich.
Urban studied Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen. He also holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Zurich.
