In this presentation, we will share some thoughts on gold and its relationship with ESG. Our discussion will be guided by the following questions: What is gold? What is LBMA gold? What are the shortcomings of LBMA gold? What are the alternatives? Why not use recycled gold? Is traceability the same as ESG?
Head of Quantitative Investment, BCV
Patrick Dugué has been head of quantitative investment at BCV since 2017. Mr. Dugué joined BCV in 2009 after working for 13 years in London for a number of banks, asset managers, and alternative investment funds. Over the course of his career, he has managed forex, commodities and equity products in various formats (market-neutral, long-short, and long-only). Mr. Dugué holds an MSc in actuarial science from the City University of London.
