Head of EMEA & APAC Private Client Group
Based in Zurich, Simon Jennings joined HarbourVest in 2017 and focuses on business development and strategy with key intermediary relationships in EMEA and Asia. Simon brings over 30 years of experience to this role and has extensive experience in private equity investment, strategy, business building, client relations, and fundraising.
Global Head of Managed Solutions
Jan-Marc Fergg is the Global Head of ESG and Managed Solutions at HSBC Global Private Banking based in London. He is responsible for the bank’s Sustainable Investments initiative and strategy for Wealth and Private Banking clients. He globally runs the investment management proposition and offering for funds, alternative investments and discretionary portfolio management. Jan-Marc joined HSBC in 2012 to lead, build and develop the Wealth Products, Services and Financial Planning proposition for the global wealth management business. Previously, Jan-Marc was with UBS for more than 20 years. His career spans across a broad and deep spectrum in banking and financial services including senior leadership roles in debt capital markets, fixed income trading & sales, investment advisory research, discretionary portfolio management, products & services as well as COO roles for global businesses. His professional path has taken him to Switzerland, Germany, US and the UK. Jan-Marc graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Management from ZHAW School of Management & Law in Zurich and he is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
Head of Asset Manager Solutions EMEA
Jocelyn joined iCapital in 2021 and currently serves as Managing Director, Head of Asset Manager Solutions EMEA, based in Zurich. In this role, she is responsible for business development and client management activities with U.S. and European Asset Managers and General Partners across the EMEA region. Previously, Jocelyn was Managing Director, International Product Development and Structuring, where she developed iCapital’s product offering and led a fund structuring team, to facilitate investment from the global wealth channel into private markets funds. Prior to joining iCapital, Jocelyn had significant experience working as a structurer and funds lawyer with global alternative asset managers. She was the sole Europe-based structuring specialist at Apollo Management, where she developed the firm’s European fund structuring capability and structured transactions across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions. Before joining Apollo, Jocelyn was Counsel at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in London, and prior to that, an associate at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett in both New York, and London, specializing in private funds. Jocelyn is admitted to the New York Bar and holds a JD from NYU School of Law, an MPhil from Cambridge University, and a BA from George Washington University.
Head of Wealth Solutions – Investor Relations
Luc Maruenda joined the Group in 1999, he is Partner in charge of Wealth Solutions.
As the head of the Wealth Solutions department, since 1999, Luc has developed Group's private asset management offer so as to provide adapted solutions to the demands and constraints of French and European private investors: firstly with FCPIs, then with the development of new products offering asset diversification solutions on the different investment strategies deployed.
Prior to joining the Group, Luc took part in the launch of a private equity program in the United Arab Emirates, where he took joint responsibility for the venture capital investments of The National Investor in Abu Dhabi. Before that, Luc was investment director in the offset team at Giat Industries (Nexter Group) in Abu Dhabi. Prior to that, he was CFO of the start-up Webcorp in San Francisco and worked as audit manager at Cabinet Constantin in Paris and then in New York for three years.
Luc trained as an expert-comptable (chartered accountant equivalent) and holds a Master's degree in Business Law.
