Frédéric Sonney

PhD, Senior Alternative Investment Manager, BCV

Frédéric Sonney began working at BCV as a Quantitative Investment Manager in October 2006. He then joined our fixed-income investment team in March 2008 and developed the team's first index fund, which he managed until March 2012. He is now a member of BCV's alternative investments team, where he co-manages a fund of hedge funds. Frédéric has 20 years of experience in the field and holds a PhD in finance from the University of Neuchâtel and the Swiss Finance Institute. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Neuchâtel, where he teaches a portfolio optimization course.
