Florian Rais

Founder & CEO

Florian has over 25 years of experience in traditional finance and investment management. He started his career with Bank Pictet in Geneva and then London where he became head of their investment management team. In 2005, he founded an investment management company focused on classic asset management as well as private equity, which led Florian to actively participate on the Boards and with management teams of numerous companies internationally.

In 2018, Florian founded Geneva based and FINMA regulated Criptonite Asset Management, an award-winning digital asset investment manager, offering traditional and crypto-native investors access to digital asset investments. 

Florian Rais brings a unique perspective to the crypto space, having successfully navigated the intersection of traditional finance and the rapidly evolving world of digital assets. His experience and insights into the challenges and opportunities presented by the convergence of these two realms makes him an invaluable speaker for providing attendees with a wealth of knowledge and practical insights.

His expertise covers a wide range of topics, including crypto and digital assets, tokenization, investment management, private equity, regulatory governance, risk management and the impact of digital assets on business and the broader global financial markets.
 

Bruno Ramos de Sousa

Bruno Ramos de Sousa

Head of US & Europe

Bruno Ramos de Sousa is a Partner and the Head of US & Europe at Hashdex. He joined Hashdex as the Head of Legal and Compliance in the company’s early days, and has led numerous initiatives, including the launch of the world’s first crypto ETF, the first ’33 Act Bitcoin ETF in the US, and Hashdex’s European ETP programme. Prior to Hashdex, Bruno worked at Veirano Advogados, where he headed the Fintech practice, and in the Capital Markets practice at Davis Polk & Wardwell, in New York. In his nearly two decades as a lawyer, he developed a deep experience in M&A, equity and bond offers, and other transactions in an aggregate of several billion USD, with recognitions from Chambers & Partners and other law firm directories for his Corporate/M&A and Fintech work. Mr. Sousa has an LLB from the Universidade de São Paulo and completed the Fintech Programme at Oxford University’s Saïd School of Business.

Christian Trixl joined Amundi in 2019 as Country Manager and CEO of Switzerland responsible for Institutional clients and Distribution and Wealth Management Services.
Before Amundi he worked for 12 years for Columbia Threadneedle Investments as Country Head of Switzerland responsible for Institutional and Wholesale Distribution.
Christian was also named Head of Alternatives Distribution Europe in 2010.
Before joining Columbia Threadneedle, Christian worked at Schroder Investment Management as Executive Director and Head of Sales and Marketing for Swiss Wholesale, Global Financial Swiss Institutions and Institutional Distribution.
He was also a member of the European Product Development Committee and Executive Board of Schroder Investment Management Switzerland.
Prior to this Christian was the Sales and Marketing Director at Bank von Ernst, a Portfolio Manager for Pension Funds at Swiss Cantonal Bank and he started his career with Hill Samuel Ltd working in the Corporate Finance / New Issues Division.
Christian holds a Federal Diploma in Business Economics of the Swiss Business School and various higher Postgraduate Study Degrees in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration and Finance Studies.
Christian is an active member of selected leading Finance Industry Associations.
