Jian Shi Cortesi CFA is an Investment Director at GAM Investment Management. She is responsible for the GAM China Evolution Fund and the GAM Asia Focus Fund. Over the past two decades, she has worked in China, the United States and Switzerland. The funds she manages have won the Lipper Fund Awards for the best Asia ex-Japan fund over three years (2019) and best China fund over three years (2017). She was nominated for Fund Manager of the Year by the Women in Investment Awards (2018), and for Citywire’s Best Fund Manager Awards for China Equity (2017). She holds a Bachelor degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University in China and an MBA from the University of Tennessee in the United States. She is a CFA Charterholder and a board member of CFA Society Switzerland.
