Founder & CEO at Avantgarde, Co-Founder at Enzyme
Mona El Isa is co-founder of Enzyme, one of the crypto industry ’s leading decentralised asset management protocols, and founder and CEO at Avantgarde. She is also President of MAMA (Multichain Asset Managers Association) and a Board Member at Near Foundation and KR1 Plc. She was nominated Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum and Digital Shaper in Bilanz magazine.
As a former star-trader at Goldman Sachs, Mona was promoted to Vice President by the age of 26 and made the “Top 30 under 30” list in Trader Magazine in 2008 and Forbes Magazine in 2011 after profitably trading the 2008 and 2011 crashes. She moved to Geneva-based macro fund Jabre Capital in 2011, before deciding in 2014 that the future of finance lay in blockchain technology. She studied Economics & Statistics at University College London.
Digital Asset Advisor, Julius Baer & Co Ltd.
Philipp Krämer is a Digital Asset Advisor at Julius Baer & Co Ltd. He joined the Julius Baer Group in 2018 and has held different positions since. Besides his current deployment as a Digital Asset Advisor, he was working as an Investment Advisor in Singapore and as an Equity Specialist in Zurich. Philipp holds a bachelor degree in business administration from the University of Zurich and graduated from the University of St. Gallen in 2018, with a master degree in Finance. He is passionate about innovation and technology and is closely following the digital asset space since 2017. Back then, Philipp Krämer was writing his master thesis about the protocol of Bitcoin.
Quantitative Researcher, Quantica Capital
Lucas Spiga is Quantitative Researcher at Quantica Capital. Prior to joining Quantica, Lucas was a Quantitative Researcher at Millennium Management in Geneva developing systematic trading strategies on commodities. Before this, Lucas worked in the commodity trading departments at Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank in London. He holds an MEng in General Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon and an MSc in Investment Management from Cranfield School of Management.
CEO Verum Capital
Matthias Weissl is the CEO and co-founder of Verum Capital, a leading Web3 venture studio based in Zurich, a lecturer at the University of St.Gallen & Bocconi University and a Working Group member of WEF (Digital Transformation). Verum Capital designs, builds, and invests in decentralized technology. With 13 portfolio companies, 30+ projects, and 90+ engagements under their belt, the Verum team works with VCs, investors, and network foundations to create new, valuable DeFi products and ventures.
Senior Lecturer, ZHAW Institute of Wealth & Asset Management
In his current research, Marcus Wunsch focuses on decentralized derivatives exchanges. He previously worked as a trader, senior researcher and Head of Risk Management at a managed futures fund, and as a quant and risk specialist at a major Swiss bank. He holds a doctorate in Applied Mathematics from the University of Vienna.
